Jack Reid Cars Ltd expands business to new premises

Carrickfergus dealership Jack Reid Cars Ltd has recently extended business to a key location between Carrick and Whitehead. Brothers, Jack and Adam Reid who run the operation are delighted with the acquisition..
Sitting in the office of the bright, newly refurbished showroom Adam told me "This is an ideal location for us. We're on the main road between Carrickfergus and Larne - it's great for us and even better for our customers."
The new showroom is on my daily commute into Belfast and over the last few weeks since the new signage and cars started to appear, I've been glancing in to see what was in stock. I paid an impromptu visit on my way home when a Gen III Midnight Blue Toyota MR2 caught my eye in the forecourt.
I'm a sucker for a nice MR2 and I already knew that Adam wouldn't mind me taking it out for a spin.
After my test drive and a quick catch-up with the guys, Adam made me a coffee and we had a good chat about business, cars and the trade in general. According to both Jack and Adam, a blend of sound business strategy and consistently good standards of service has helped Jack Reid Cars, not only to weather these uncertain times but also to grow significantly.
"Knowing what our customers want, not only in terms of a great choice of stock and finance but also in the service that they expect has been important to us over the years" said Adam, "People appreciate a hassle-free, family run business and one that's local and familiar"
"All of our cars are sold complete with an MOT, full service and thorough safety inspection. We take huge pride in the presentation of our cars."
A service bay complete with the latest diagnostic equipment and run by experienced staff, is fully equipped to service all major makes, as well as tyre and exhaust fitting and MOT preparation.
The family business has been in operation for 13 years now and has seen consistent growth during that time. The Dromore Road branch in Carrickfergus, now called Best Buy Cars specialises in 'budget' cars for under £4000.
Incidentally, the MR2 is still on the forecourt despite a very keen price...
